Questions to Ask in an Interview
Remember to ask questions that are relevant to the company and position for which you are interviewing.
- What are some of the common characteristics of employees that excel in this environment?
- Would you please comment on your style of management and the reporting structure?
- What is your policy and record regarding promotions from within versus parachuting to fill supervisory/ management positions?
- What is your position regarding financial and other support of related professional education?
- Why would a well-qualified person choose this position over similar ones in other corporations? (What is unique and different about this position?)
- How will you measure my performance? How often?
- Will my remuneration be tied to my performance?
- Based on the amount of time we have discussed the company, this opportunity and my suitability for it, I find myself very interested in taking it to the next step.
- What is your assessment of my status for the position? When could we meet again?
Do not see interviews as the chance
Do not see interviews as the chance, think it as an opportunity to present you to a company. It is a chance for you to prove yourself in front of the interviewer, so you should come with full preparation of questions you need answers...
